Records saved only on your device are separate from account records. If you use an account, check which set is selected before saving a backup, restoring it, or removing records.
Use a PDF to read or share.
A PDF report is a document you can read or share with details from your practice log. Review the learner, dates, totals, and any included details before sending it to someone else.
A PDF cannot restore the app’s history. It also does not guarantee that a licensing authority will accept the record. Check official forms, signatures, and other requirements first.
Save a backup you can restore.
- Finish any active drive.
- In Settings, choose Back up selected history.
- Choose a destination you control and keep track of where the file is saved.
The backup file uses a format called JSON, which the app can read to restore your records. It covers the selected history on this device, including learners and the detailed records the backup supports. Routes, notes, and saved edits can be included, so keep it private. Other histories and records stored online are separate.
Android does not automatically back up this app. Save a current backup somewhere separate from your phone before moving devices or replacing records on this one.
Check before replacing your records.
Choose Restore selected history in Settings. The app checks the file, then shows a summary before asking to replace the selected records on this device. Back them up first if you want to keep them.
If the file fails the checks, your selected records stay unchanged. Restoring a backup does not combine every account, replace records stored online, or take back copies you’ve shared.
Choose sync for use on other devices.
Sync shares saved drives through your account. If you turn it on, supported records from the selected account history can appear on compatible devices signed into the same account. Keep a separate backup if you want a file you control. An internet connection is needed, and Android may delay updates while the app is in the background.
You separately choose whether to share later edits. The optional permit start date stays on your device and in backup files; ordinary drive sync does not copy it to another device.
